The Technique Training Videos
Just before he departed the material world for that great gym in the sky, John had completed six essential instructional technique videos. It’s as if he couldn’t rest in peace without making sure his trainees were going to perform perfect technique on these six basic exercises for as long as humankind exists.
These are highly in-depth coaching sessions that cover every facet of achieving flawless form on six compound exercises that have been making men big and strong for over 100 years. Each one is a comprehensive study of a basic movement. John covers them from every angle and takes into account every question that could be asked. As usual, he leaves nothing incomplete and doesn't mince words. Take it from a trainee who has been using these exercises injury-free for over twenty years:
"The skill of the movement is the most important aspect to one’s time in the gym. John’s genius for coaching technique creates an unconscious mastery. And once you have mastered the biomechanics, all that’s left is your pure, uncompromised effort."- Alex Kosene, Champion Powerlifter
"John Christy's technique training videos are truly outstanding. Throughout the videos, John consistently promotes and reinforces good biomechanics and whole body flexion in combination with basic compound exercises. The training principles and technique presented in the videos are tough and require dedication, but they are simple and applicable to everyone.
In the dumbbell row video there is music from the movie, Braveheart. John was the William Wallace of the strength training world. He led passionately by example."- Andy Murray
Squats
The squat is the ultimate exercise for size and strength. Performed properly within a well designed training program, the squat alone can have incredible effects on your entire body. In this video, John teaches flawless technique, safe for any lifter's biomechanics. Whether you are new to the squat or need improvement, the comprehensive instruction by John is based on over 35 years of personal squatting experience and 22 years of training thousands of clients.
Curls Technique
Strong, powerful arms are the badge of the strength athlete. While curls seem so simple to perform, getting muscular arms is harder then it looks. In this video, John teaches how to maximize the effects of this basic movement while minimizing unproductive habits and keeping the body safe from injury.
Bench Press
Think you know how to bench press? Think again. Walk into any gym and find at least half a dozen benches for pressing and barely a person who knows how to use them properly. John will not accept injuries and stagnated training resulting from poor technique. Here it is, once and for all, simple and comprehensive instruction that will provide a lifetime of progressive, injury-free, powerful upper body muscle building.
Sumo Deadlift
One of the best kept secrets in strength training, the SUMO DEADLIFT barely misses a muscle in the human body. In addition, it often safer, and more biomechanically sound for many body types than the conventional deadlift. This video will teach you how to do what advanced powerlifters have been doing for decades to build size, strength, and raw power.
Power Dumbbell Row
A common mistake among many people training for size and strength is a lack of attention to the balance between the anterior and posterior portions of the body. If you are going to build strong powerful chest it is important to have lats and traps in equal measure. In this video John teaches the perfect compliment to the bench press, and proves that the dumbell row deserves regard as a important compound movement.
Dips Technique
Many don't realize that the dip is just as effective as the bench press for compound upper body muscle building. Unfortunately, most trainees simply forget to use it, or find themselves injured when they do. In this video, John teaches how this misunderstood movement can be utilized as a powerful answer to peck, triceps, and shoulder development, while staying injury free.
